It might not be easy to accidently come upon it, but it is quite easy to make a short side trip there.

Your best bet for getting around Montreal is to use the Metro (subway) - you can buy a day pass and have full access to the metro and all buses. Pretty much everything is close to a metro stop, and you can cover distances much faster than walking (thus leaving you more time to hit a yarn store!).

To get to Mouline, take the metro to Lionel Groulx (either the orange line or the green line will get you there). When you go outside, turn right and head down Atwater street (you'll be close to the Atwater market). Turn left on Notre Dame and walk a couple of blocks to 2657. Great store! There are lots of antique shops on that street, if that's appealing to any of you.

Besides yarn shopping, you should take them to see Old Montreal, including the port. The closest metro stop is Champ-de-Mars, which is on the orange line, just 3 stops from Bonaventure, where the train station is.

Have a great trip! I lived in Montreal for 12 years before moving to Ottawa, so if you have any other questions before you go, don't hesitate to ask!Leannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06006348294294750475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2088067155848156847.post-14627949914159841022008-05-19T13:32:00.000-04:002008-05-19T13:32:00.000-04:00So you don't want to hear about the Fabric distric...So you don't want to hear about the Fabric district then????Five Ferns Fibreholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14468372204415518412noreply@blogger.com
